Phu An Bamboo Village
Based in Binh Duong district, near Ho Chi Minh City, Phu An Bamboo Village is an empirical research center focused on biodiversity conservation, sustainable development and environment protection thanks to bamboos.
In order to reach these goals, the center:
- develops knowledge on natural heritage, especially Vietnamese bamboos
- preserves various species of bamboos
- determines how bamboo adapt itself to new living conditions, how to cut and replant it, to transplant and to fertilize it
We have created a partnership with the Phu An Bamboo Village. We provide material and financial support to the Village, and they take care of the bamboos we plant.
